Perry "Terry" Schafer, 75, of Ravenden, passed from this life on Friday, May 15, 2026. He was born on April 30, 1951, in Pocahontas to the late Ray and Lucille (Raglin) Schafer. He was of the Christian belief. Terry was a true jack-of-all-trades. Throughout his life, he farmed, changed tires, raised chickens, and had a special talent for working with and training animals. Above all, Terry will be remembered as a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and loyal friend to many.

Terry was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Lucille Schafer; his wife, Sally Hill; and one brother, Robert Schafer.

He is survived by his children, Tanya Foster (Jim) of Smithville, Kristin Schafer (Brian Marchlewski) of Ravenden, and Terry Schafer of Little Rock; one sister, Wilma Dunlap (Jimmy) of Cherokee Village; grandchildren, Krista, Jake, Zach, Hunter, Jesse, Jagen, and Sawyer; great-grandchildren, Paisley, Waylon, and Wrenley; and a host of other family members and friends.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
