Walnut Ridge- Perry Lavelle Segraves, 81, passed away Sunday, May 3, 2020 at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.  He was born August 8, 1938 to Perry and Helen Roslet Segraves in Fender.  He married Maurine Schilly in December 1983.   He was a heavy equipment operator and also served in the United States Army. Lavelle was a member of Portia Church of Christ.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Timmy Segraves (Rose); brother Johnny Segraves and Jake Segraves; and sister, Christine Lombard.

He is survived by his wife, Maurine Segraves of the home; son, Keith Hime (Helen) of Jonesboro; daughters, Angela Forehand (Paul) of Swifton, Debbie Hanshaw of Walnut Ridge, Toni Sexton of West Plains; sisters, Dorthy Hollans of Jonesboro, Marcia Wilson and Marnelle Wolff of Rockford, Illinois; nine grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be Thursday, May 7, 2020 at 1 p.m. in Lawrence Memorial Park.  Robert Davis and Seth Parnell will officiate.  All arrangements are under the direction of Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge.
