Randy Lee Clopp, 60, of Delaplaine passed away Friday, January 1, 2021 at Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Walnut Ridge.  He was born October 30, 1960 in Des Moines, Iowa to Roy Edward and Joan Miller Clopp.  He was a former member of First Baptist Church in Walnut Ridge and a new member of Great Harvest Baptist Church in Pocahontas.  Randy was a 1980 graduate of Walnut Ridge High School. He was a custodian at First Baptist Church in Walnut Ridge and a truck driver during his lifetime.

Randy is preceded in death by his father; niece, Taylar Grace; maternal grandparents, David and Nora Miller; and his paternal grandparents, Virgil and Lilly Clopp.

He is survived by his mother Joan Miller Clopp Belk of Walnut Ridge; brother, Edward Clopp (Tammy) of Alpena; sisters, Christine Melton (Danny) of Paragould and Lori Walker (Joe) of Beech Grove; several nieces, nephews, and a host of other family members.

Vistitation will be Wednesday, January 6, 2021 from 12 until 1 p.m. at Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge.  The funeral service will follow immediately at 1 p.m.  Jeff Hamm will officiate.  Interment will follow in Austin Cemetery in Walnut Ridge.  All arrangements are under the direction of Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Justin Walker, Joe Walker, Danny Melton, Donald Clopp, Willie Laughary, and Dennis Miller.

Honorary pallbearers are Carrie Walker and Edward Clopp.
