Rev. Darrell Wayne Walker, 77, of Imboden, entered into his heavenly home on Sunday, September 13, 2026, at St. Bernards Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro. He was born on October 31, 1948, in Naylor, Missouri to the late Earl Jackson and Vanna Virginia (Huson) Walker. He was united in marriage to Vicki Liles on September 11, 1970, in St. Louis, Missouri.

As a devoted pastor, Darrell lived his life to serve the Lord in both his ministry and daily life, he beautifully demonstrated Christ’s love by always putting others above himself. His deep faith was the cornerstone of everything he did, and he poured endless love into his family and his cherished church family. He had a profound love for Southern Gospel music, whether he was lifting his voice in song or listening to his favorite groups. Darrell leaves behind a legacy of selfless ministry, faith, and service that will never be forgotten.

In addition to his parents, Darrell was preceded in death by his sisters, Lula Bell Camp and Debbie Pendergrass; brothers, Bill (Willie) Walker and Charles Walker; and daughter-in-law Caitlyn Walker.

He is survived by his wife, Vicki of the home; daughter, Tonya Hale (Chris) of Ash Flat and son, Brent Walker (Jessica) of Imboden; sisters, Darlene Srader and Barbara Niswonger both of Doniphan, and Wanda Wooldridge (John) of Fairdealing, Missouri; grandchildren, Kaleb Cook, Waylon Irvin (Elizabeth), Jaiden Walker, Ryleigh Walker, and Greycen Mauldin; great-grandchildren, Jessie Irvin and Wyatt Irvin; and host of church family and friends.

Visitation will be Saturday, September 19, 2026, from 12 until 2 P.M. at the Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ in Hoxie with funeral services immediately following at 2 P.M. Rev. Danny Murphy and Rev. Donnie Fowler will officiate. Interment will follow in the Lorado Cemetery under the direction of Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge.

Pallbearers will be Randy Srader, Jim Camp, Waylon Irvin, Kaleb Cook, Jaiden Walker, and Shea Flanery.
