Cherokee Village-Robert Paul Long, 67, of Cherokee Village passed away Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at White River Medical Center in Batesville. He was born in Martinez, California on October 15, 1949 to Robert and Rita Freeman Long. He worked in construction as a heavy equipment operator.

He is preceded in death by his father; and one sister, Sheila Long.

He is survived by his wife, Judy Long of the home; daughters, Jennifer Miller (Cal) and Heidi Vetter of Searcy; step daughters, Kelly Bryan and Kristy McNiel of California; brother, Waymon Long (Kathy) of Batesville; sisters, Pam Smith (David) of Kansas City, Sharon Gilliam (Herschel) of Black Rock; five grandchildren, five great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
