Robert William Mobley, 83, of Pocahontas, died December 29, 2014 at Pocahontas Nursing and Rehab. He was born September 10, 1931 in Judsonia to Lonnie and Bertha Louise Grisby Mobley. On December 16, 1950 he married Ruthie Blevins in Pocahontas. Mr. Mobley drove a fork lift for Heinz Pickle Factory, was also engaged in farming, and was a member of the Pentecostal Church of God in Pocahontas.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sons, Ronnie and Curtis Douglas Mobley; brother, Earl Mobley; sisters, Irene Duke and Lucille Combs; and grandson, Lonnie Mobley.

Survivors include his wife, Ruthie, of the home; sons, Randy Mobley of Indiana and Bobby Mobley of Holland, MI; daughters, Barbara Ridge of Hudsonville, MI and Brenda Jones of Maynard; brothers, Boyce Mobley and Eugene Mobley, both of Holland, MI, and Roy Mobley of Florida; sister, Navadean Johnson of Florida; twelve grandchildren; and nineteen great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Friday, January 2, 2015 from 10:30am to noon at the Cox Funeral Home Chapel in Walnut Ridge. Funeral services will immediately follow visitation at the chapel with Perry Vandergriff officiating. Burial will follow in Ingram Cemetery near Supply.
