Rodney Davis, 57, of Imboden passed from this life on Friday, September 8, 2023, in Walnut Ridge.  He was born October 7, 1965, in Walnut Ridge to the late Melvin C. Davis Sr. and Marilyn A. (Lammers) Davis.  Rodney was the President at Laco Manufacturing in Walnut Ridge.  He was of the Christian belief.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Melvin Davis, Jr.; sisters, Cheryl Davis Clark and Kathryn Smelser.

He is survived by his son, Wesley Davis of Fayetteville; sisters, Judy Goodwin (Curtis) of Walnut Ridge and Peggy Davis of Jonesboro; nieces and nephews, Cortney Goodwin, Chad Goodwin, Stephanie Davis, Sonja Smelser, Amy Smelser, Bob Pettit (Cathy), Travis Petit (Gia), Amber Broadway (Chad), and Brandi Summers (Brian).

Visitation will be Monday, September 11, 2023, from 1 until 3 p.m. at Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge with funeral services immediately following at 3 p.m. Charles Hendrix will officiate.  Interment will follow in Lawrence Memorial Park in Walnut Ridge under the direction of Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge.

Honored to serve as pallbearers will be Curtis Smith, Chris Irvin, Ben Davis, Travis Bonner, Blake Britton, and Ken Ashlock.

Honorary pallbearers are Allen Burns, Ricky Gilmore, Danny Joe Hibbard, and Kenneth Adams.
