Ronnie Eugene Brown, 74, of Walnut Ridge, entered into his heavenly home on October 15, 2025, at Walnut Ridge Nursing and Rehab. He was born on July 31, 1951, to the late Homer and Lorene (Williams) Brown in Walnut Ridge. He was employed as a commercial tire service technician and later worked at Skill in Walnut Ridge. He served as the mayor of Minturn for two years and was a member of the Hoxie Baptist Church. Ronnie was an avid deer hunter, fisherman, and enjoyed bowling. He loved his family and was a dedicated father and husband.

In addition to his parents, Ronnie was preceded in death by his stepfather, Joe Baker; stepson, Gary Hardin; and brothers, Tommy Brown and Bobby Joe Baker.

He is survived by his wife Barbara Brown, of 27 years of the home; his children, Ronnie Brown Jr. (Barbra) of Westland, Michigan and Ronda Holt (David) of Canton, Michigan; step-children, James Hardin (Judy) of Pocahontas, Ricky Hardin of Hoxie, and Rhonda O'Connor (Bruce) of Hoxie; grandchildren, Taylor Curia, Justin Brown, Aaron Brown, Robert Holt, and Logan Holt; step-grandchildren, Logan Hardin, Tosha Hopper, Meagan Noblin, and Ashley Crawford; three great-grandchildren; and a host of other family members and friends.

Visitation will be on Friday, October 17, 2025, from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. at Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge, with funeral services immediately following at 2 p.m. Bro. Wayne Martin will officiate. Interment will follow in the Dry Creek Cemetery in Lynn under the direction of Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge.

Aaron, Justin, Robert, Jeff, Bill, and Duffie will serve as pallbearers.
