Ronnie Lee Young, 67, passed from this life on Friday, May 28, 2021, at his residence in Hoxie. He was born August 15, 1953, in Pocahontas to Harold and Minerva Smith Young.  Ronnie farmed during his life and attended the Pentecostal Church of Jesus Christ in Hoxie.

Ronnie was preceded in death by his father, Harold Young.

He is survived by his wife, Kathy Young of Hoxie; his mother, Minerva Young of Walnut Ridge; a son, Ronnie Allen Young of Jonesboro; brothers, James Young (Joyce) of Fort Scott, Kansas, and Darrell Young of Walnut Ridge; his sister, Glenda Carrithers (Carl) of Pocahontas); and many nieces, nephews, and other family members.

A graveside service for Ronnie will be Tuesday, June 1, 2021, at 10 a.m. in Whittaker Cemetery near Egypt. Ray Meeker will officiate. All arrangements are under the direction of Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Darrell Young and Carl Carrithers.
