Roy Junior Marshall, 83, of Walnut Ridge passed from this life on Saturday, July 13, 2024, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. He was born January 24, 1941, in Walnut Ridge to the late Roscoe and Dorothy (Robinson) Marshall. He was a self-employed farmer during his lifetime. Roy was of the Christian belief.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Linda Anderson; and uncle, Bill Marshall.

He is survived by his children, Sandy Marshall Jones (James) of Clear Springs and Chris Marshall (Rebecca) of Paragould; sister, Kathleen Wallis of Walnut Ridge; grandchildren, Brandi Jones Bookout (Aaron), Jared Jones, Blair Quinn (Dakota), and Logan Marshall; great-grandchildren, Dylan Bookout, Jaylee Jones, Presley Bookout, June Jones, Mason Jones, Karlee Newnum, and Rayla Quinn; and a host of other family members and friends.

Visitation will be Wednesday, July 17, 2024, from 6 until 8 p.m. at Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge. Graveside services will be Thursday, July 18, 2024, at 3 p.m. in Lawrence Memorial Park in Walnut Ridge. Jerry Clements will officiate. All arrangements are under the direction of Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Logan Marshall, Jared Jones, Greg Gill, Steve Ditto, Dustin Ashford, and Jonathan Sanders.

Honorary pallbearers are Aaron Bookout, Dylan Bookout, Ricky Rice, and Mason Jones.
