Roy Max Stroud, 63, died Saturday, June 23, 2012 at Lawrence Memorial Hospital. He was born on August 16, 1948 to Claude and Marie Booten Stroud. He had worked for Tyson Foods and Golf Bag Associates. He was an active volunteer in cub scouts and member of Green Forest Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Bill Stroud; and uncle, Dale Booten. Survivors include his wife, Rosemary Ring Stroud and son Mike Stroud, both of the home; several nieces and nephews. A private memorial service is planned at a later date. The body was cremated.
