Ruby Mae Brown, 76 died Friday, October 19, 2012 at Lawrence Memorial Hospital. She was born on February 7, 1940 at Ravenden, Arkansas to Willie J. and Lillie Cossey Brown. Having lived all her life in Ravenden she was a homemaker and of the church of Christ belief. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Willie Ray Brown. Survivors include a sister, Dorothy Wells of Ravenden; a brother, Lester Brown and his wife, Verda of Pocahontas; a sister-in-law, Carol Brown of Ravenden and numerous neices, nephews and friends. A memorial service will be held Thursday, October 24, 10:30am at Opposition Cemetery near Ravenden. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to The Children's Home, 5515 Old Walcott Rd., Paragould, AR 72450
