Ruby Imogene Parks, 87, of St. Louis, Missouri, passed from this life on Sunday, December 7,

2025, at Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis, Missouri. She was born on January 3, 1939, in

Walnut Ridge, to the late Harry and Sarah (Parks) Derr. She was a factory worker during her

lifetime and was of the Baptist faith. Ruby was family-oriented and dearly loved her children and

grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Ruby was preceded in death by her first husband, James Thomas

Parks, and her second husband, Edward White; brothers, Vernon Derr, Herschel Derr, Chester

Derr, Leon Derr, and Melvin Derr; sisters, Willene Collins, Irma Lee Headrick, and Edith

Bellah; and granddaughter, Christy Stocker.

She is survived by her daughters, Fay Stocker of Pevely, Missouri, Felecia Eckenrod (Gregory)

of Imperial, Missouri; grandchildren, Angel Padgitt (Todd), Richard Stocker, and James (Jimmy)

Stocker; great-grandchildren, Arizona Messmer (Cody), Rachel Stocker, James (Jimmy) Stocker,

Hayley Stocker, Zak Stocker, Brian Padgitt, Gauge Stocker, and Austin Padgitt, Serenity

Messmer, Tommy Messmer, Parker Stocker, Jason Stocker, Hazel Stocker, Eliza Theusch,

Edward Landreth, and Elijah Landreth.

Visitation will be Saturday, May 9, 2026, from 1 P.M. to 2 P.M. in Cox Funeral Home Chapel in

Walnut Ridge, with funeral services following at 2 P.M. Interment will follow in the Jones Ridge

Cemetery in Delaplaine under the direction of Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Todd Padgitt, Brian Padgitt, Richard Stocker, and Cody

Messmer.
