Russel Wayne Jessen, 61, of Imboden, died Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at his residence. He was born October 2, 1951 in Starkville, MS to Arthur and Wilma Brown Jessen. He married Debbie DePriest March 24, 1979 in Imboden. He was a paramedic with the Spring River Ambulance Service and a member of Imboden Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Carl and Emma Brown; paternal grandparents, Arthur and Emma Jessen.
Survivors include his wife, Debbie, of the home; daughters, Maragaret Elizabeth (Beth) Hook of Bono and Jana Jessen of Alicia; parents, Arthur and Wilma Jessen of Imboden; brothers, Gary Jessen of Alabama and Joe Jessen of Imboden; sister, Lyjuan Kelley of Jonesboro; grandchildren, Braydon Crowell, and Jalynn, Aiden, and Kenna Claire Hook; several nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be Friday 11:00am to 1:00pm at Imboden Baptist Church in Imboden. Funeral services will immediately follow visitation at Imboden Baptist Church in Imboden with Jerry Clements officiating. Burial to follow in Hope Cemetery at Imboden.
Pallbearers are Joe Jessen, Gary Jessen, Bryan Jessen, Garrett Jessen, Jacob Kelley, and Larry Kelley.
Honorary pallbearers are the Spring River Ambulance Service.
