Ruth Joan Nunnally Morrison, 80, of Mammoth Spring, formerly of Black Rock passed from life Sunday, August 14, 2022, at her residence in Mammoth Springs. She was born on August 5, 1942 in Blytheville to William Narl and Clara Marie Pickney Nunnally. She was a homemaker, waitress and cook during her lifetime. Ruth was of the Pentecostal belief. She loved Jesus, to read the Bible, cookbooks, medical books and loved children.

In addition to her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by one son, Mark Ludwig; one daughter, Vanessa Schultz; brothers, Morris "Bud" Nunnally, Narl Alan Nunnally and Charles Nunnally; sisters, Norma Payne, Barbara Nell, Elsie Williams, Betty Smith, Joyce Roveta Nunnally.

She is survived by two daughters, Denise Ludwig and Diane Carr; brother, Dale Nunnally of Mississippi; sister, Linda Mins of California; grandchildren, Hunter Ludwig, December Schlosburg, Devin Carr, Shelly Allen and Lucas Shultz (Paula).

Visitation will be Friday, August 19, 2022, from 10 am to 12 pm in Cox Funeral Home Chapel in Walnut Ridge.  Graveside services will follow at 2 p.m. at Riverside Cemetery in Mammoth Spring. All arrangements are under the direction of Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
