Sally Jane VanWinkle, 87, of Imboden passed away Monday, October 23, 2017 at her residence.  She was born December 30, 1929 to Walter and Lottie Riggs Dunham in Ravenden.  She married Willard VanWinkle on Setpember 15, 1947 in Pocahontas. She was an employee at Waterloo for 20 years and a member of New Bethel Baptist in Pocahontas.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband; several brothers and sisters; and son in law, James Stevens.

She is survived by sons, Paul (Carol) VanWinkle of Ozark, Missouri, Gene (Sandy) VanWinkle of Maynard, and Andy (Lois) VanWinkle of Imboden; daughters, Frances (Bob) Matthews of Ravenden Springs, Clara (Tooter) Stevens of Galva, Illinois, Mazie VanWinkle of Imboden, Teresa (John) Marrone of Sedalia, Missouri, Sandra (Tony) Amos of Pocahontas and Kathy (Johnny) Green of Imboden, Arkansas; nineteen grandchildren, twenty nine great grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Wednesday, October 25, 2017 from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. at Cox Funeral Home.  Funeral will be Thursday, October 26, 2017 at 10 a.m at Cox Funeral Home Chapel with Joe Logry officiating.  Interment will follow at Old Union Cemetery in Imboden under the direction of Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Brian Stevens, Mike VanWinkle, Craig VanWinkle, Eugene Matthews, Duane Stevens, Chris VanWinkle, Randall VanWinkle and Keith Matthews.

Honorary Pallbearers are Johnny Green, Tony Amos, John Marrone and Bob Matthews.
