Samantha Jane Dailey, 44, of Salem, entered into her heavenly home on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at her residence, surrounded by loved ones. She was born on March 1, 1981, in Jonesboro to Samuel and Theresa Rorex. She worked a variety of jobs during her lifetime to provide for all of her precious children.  Samantha was a dedicated member of the Pentecostal faith, with hope that her children, grandchildren, cousins, nieces, and nephews all develop a loving relationship with God and walk with Jesus, knowing their strength and love. She was a devoted mother, with her faith and family being most important and dear to her heart.

She was preceded in death by her biological mother and father, Samuel and Theresa Rorex; adopted father, Gary D. Way; paternal grandparents, Darrel and Earlene Way; maternal grandparents, John F. and Geneva Rorex; brother, David Allen Way, and great-nephew, William Allen Rodriguez.

She is survived by her children, Halana Way, Cloey Capps, Andrew Capps, and Benjamin Jones all of the home; her mother, Deborah Way of Mountain Home; sister, Mary Hensley (Jeremy) of Missouri; grandsons, Kalub Rollins and Ezerah Hall; many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins across Arkansas, Kentucky Missouri; a dear sister, Angela Sloan; and a host of other family members and friends.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. at Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge, with funeral services immediately following at 2 p.m. with Chad Townsend officiating. Interment will follow in Markham Cemetery near Egypt under the direction of Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are David Way, Jack Way, Daniel Couch, Caleb Smith, Jeremy Hensley, and Matthew Elliot.
