Samuel Gene Brandon, Sr. 64, of Hoxie, passed away Friday, September 21, 2018 in Walnut Ridge.  He was born on August 19, 1954 to Kenneth and Dorothy Culhane Brandon in Flint, MI.  Samuel served as a detention officer for Greene County Sheriff's office.  He was a member of the People's Faith Tabernacle Church in Hoxie.  Samuel proudly served in the Army for eight years.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Vicki Gaines; brothers, Kenneth, Jr, Monty, Ron Brandon and Matt Gorecki.

Survivors include sons, Samuel Brandon, Jr (Suzanne) of North Little Rock; William Brandon of Jonesboro and Jedidiah Brandon of Fayetteville; brothers, Ray Brandon, Sr. (Becky) of Walnut Ridge; a sister, Debra Colley of Walnut Ridge; grandchildren, Jackson, Mason, Alexander, Jep and Fallon and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers are Samuel Brandon, William Brandon, Jedidiah Brandon, Ray Brandon, Jr., Chad Brandon and Perry Manus.
