Samuel Earl "Buddy" Rorex, 56, of Walnut Ridge, died Saturday, November 2, 2013, at his residence. He was born November 22, 1956 in Walnut Ridge to Samuel Earl, Sr. and Nina Fry Rorex. He was a brick layer and of the church of Christ belief.

Preceding him in death were his father; wife, Theresa Babb Rorex; son, David Way.

Survivors include his mother, Nina Vinson of Walnut Ridge; daughters, Samantha Capps of Walnut Ridge and Mary Couch of Lebanon, MO; brother, Tony Scott Rorex of Paragould; ten grandchildren.

Visitation will be Tuesday, November 5, at 1:30 pm at the Cox-Fears Funeral Home Chapel in Walnut Ridge. Funeral services will be Tuesday, 2:30 pm at the Cox-Fears Chapel with Dale Hughart officiating. Burial will follow in Markham Cemetery near Egypt.

Pallbearers are Rick Ingram, Rick Forman, Paul Park, Marvin Park, Mark Tannehill, and Andy Capps.
