Scott Brooks Hall, 51, of Smithville passed from this life on April 4, 2023 at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. He was born January 4, 1972, in Hayward, California to the late Charles Hall Jr. and Grunia Jean Kennedy. He was united in marriage to Sarah Barnes on July 17, 2004, in Walnut Ridge. He was chief engineer of tow boats for many years, worked at Eagan Manufacturing, and retired from Walmart as a tire technician.

Scott was preceded in death by his father, Charles "Chuck" Hall Jr. and an infant sister, Julie Lynn Hall.

He is survived by his loving wife of the home; mother, Jean Hall of Smithville; second mom, Fran Barnes of Walnut Ridge; son, Chad Hall (Mallory) of Jonesboro; daughter, Tarenity Hall-Pace of the home; one brother, Guy Hall (Janine Ellis) of Cave Springs; nephews, Zackary Hall, Dylan Hall, and Gunner Mason.

Visitation will be Friday, April 7, 2023, from 12 until 1 p.m. with a service following at 1 p.m. at Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge. Chad Burton will officiate. Interment will follow in Powhatan Cemetery in Powhatan under the direction of Cox Funeral Home.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Ron Hendricks, Troy Johnson, Toby Brady, Derick Barnes, Elijah Richardson, and Zack Hall.

Honorary pallbearers will be Cliff Eberlan and Allen Burns.
