Shirley Ann Branch, 80, of Black Rock passed away Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at her residence. She was born May 17, 1937 to Mark and Vella Ann Randolph Ludwig at Lynn. She was a homemaker, caregiver, and attended Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church. Her faith in Jesus Christ was very important to her and she wanted to use her illness as a ministry. Shirley was a member of the Cooper Creek Cloggers. She loved playing the Ukulele and Dulcimer, sewing, crocheting, knitting and plants.

She is preceded in death by her father, Mark Ludwig; mother, Vella Whitlow; and stepfather, Earl Whitlow; her husband, James Branch; brothers, Burley Ludwig, Randall Ludwig, and Jimmy Mack Whitlow.

She is survived by a son, Frank Forrester (Sharon) of Imboden; daughters, Stacey Lein (Dan) of Foristell, Missouri, Melanie Eubanks (Terry) of Pensacola, Florida; dear sister-in-law, Ruth Morrison; grandchildren, Maranda Davis, Clay Lein, Kellen Forrester, Bryan Harvey, Logan Lein, Jesica Land, Frances Emmons, Jamie Fugett, Hanna Allen, Pawnee Forrester, Jason Eubanks, Nigel Eubanks, and Elizabeth Harvey; and sixteen great grandchildren.
