Stephanie Denise Johnson, 49, of Hoxie passed from this life on Tuesday, July 27, 2021 at her residence.  She was born in Walnut Ridge on June 10, 1972 to Butch and Donna Watkins.  She joined the military and married her best friend, Dominick Johnson.  After 13 years in the army, she moved back home.  She lived her best life with her family.  Stephanie adored her husband, kids, and grandbabies.

She is survived by her soul mate and husband, Dominick Johnson; her children, Dominique Johnson of Maryland; son, Michael Johnson of Hoxie, James Johnson (Sequoia Irvin) of Walnut Ridge, Stephan Johnson of Hoxie, and Mykala Johnson of Hoxie; four beautiful grandbabies, Michael, Avlynn, Khloe, and Tensley; siblings, Ronnie (Verna) Coats of Hoxie, Tony (Jamie) Coats of Pocahontas, Jeff Coats of Hoxie, Kim Watkins of Trumann, Greg (Cindy) Coats of Hoxie, Frankie Hardin of Oklahoma, Shannon (Meghan) Watkins of Trumann, and Dana Hamilton of Pocahontas; her best friends, Jody (Troy) Moshier of California, and Theresa (Chris) Walantus of Wisconsin.

Visitation will be Friday, July 30, 2021 from 1 until 2 p.m. in Cox Funeral Home Chapel in Walnut Ridge.  A memorial service will follow at 2 p.m. with Glen Smith and Chuck Fitzgerald officiating.  Burial will be private in Duty Cemetery under the direction of Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge.
