Walnut Ridge-Steve Lawrence Bolick, 65, of Walnut Ridge went to be with Jesus on October 27, 2020 at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro.  He was born on February 12, 1955 in Walnut Ridge to Henry Monroe and Thelma Mazine Bolick.  He married Joyce Russom on February 20, 1976 and they were blessed with 44 wonderful years together.  Steve worked in retail his whole life, but he was passionate about loving God and spreading His word.  Steve's heart for ministry lead him to work with several recovery groups, where he helped others to know the love of Christ.  Steve was a devoted member and associate pastor of Walnut Corner General Baptist Church in Light.

Steve was preceded in death by his father, Henry Monroe Bolick.

Steve is survived by his loving wife, Joyce Bolick; son, Joe (Kristina) Bolick; daughter, Stephanie (Michael) Faber; grandchildren, Logan Faber, Kassidy (Seth) Sherill, Savannah Faber, Zakhary Bolick; great-granddaughter, Harper Sherrill; mother, Thelma Mazine Bolick; brothers, Jim Bolick, Tim (Peggy) Bolick; sisters, Debbie (Freddie) Fry, Linda (Doug) Kingcade, Donna Humes, and Vonda Garland; and his nieces, nephews, and many friends that viewed him as family.

Visitation will be Friday October 30, 2020 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge with funeral following immediately at 1 p.m.  Mark Walker will officiate and Mike Boggs will read the obituary.  Interment will follow in Lorado Cemetery in Lorado under the direction of Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge.
