Tamyra Lynn Huskey Gates, 55, of Walnut Ridge, passed away Saturday, January 12, 2019 at her residence. She was born September 8, 1963 in Little Rock to Lavon F. and Carolyn Sharp Huskey. Tamyra worked as a medical transcriptionist and later in life owned a screen printing business. She was a member of the Rosebud Assembly of God Church.

Survivors include her parents; sisters, Marisa Watkins (Scott) and Lanae Bookout (Mike) all of Saffell; nephews, Ben Allen (Haley), Nicholas Allen, Daniel Allen; nieces, Bailey Williams (Andrew), Sydnee Reeves (Mason), Codi Martin; a great nephew, Maddox Reeves and a great niece, Adah Grace Williams; a beloved best friend, Jim Gates.

Visitation will be Monday, January 14, 2019 from 5 until 7 pm at Mt. Harmony Free Will Baptist in Saffell. Funeral will be Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at 1 pm at Mt. Harmony Free Will Baptist Church in Saffell. David Craig will officiate. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery in Saffell. All arrangements are under the direction of Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge.
