Tillman Wicker, 93, of Pocahontas died Friday at Randolph Home in Pocahontas. He was born October 10, 1920 in Ravenden to Shelby Otto and Eular Elizabeth Banks Wicker. On August 31, 1952, he married Sarah Louise Hinkle in Walnut Ridge. He was an Army Air Force veteran and minister and Senior Pastor of Church of Jesus Christ in Pocahontas for 53 years.

Preceding him in death were his parents; son, David Wicker; daughter, Cathy Wicker; four brothers; two sisters; grandsons, Joshua Gene Allison and Eli Jared Neece.

Survivors include his wife, Sarah of the home; sons, Tim Wicker (Sheila) of Paragould, John Wicker of Imboden, Paul Wicker (Pam), Joseph Wicker (Angie), and Benjamin Wicker all of Pocahontas; daughters, Patricia Moore (Gary) of Pocahontas, Jeanette Coley (Ron) of Jonesboro, and Sarah Bashaw (Marty) of Poplar Bluff, MO; brothers, Teep and Ted Wicker, both of Tennessee; twenty-four grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Sunday, January 26th from 11:00am to 2:00pm at the Church of Jesus Christ, Hwy 166 S, in Pocahontas. Funeral services will immediately follow visitation at the church under the direction of Cox-Fears Funeral Home of Walnut Ridge with Gary Moore officiating. Burial will follow in Duty Cemetery near Pocahontas.

Pallbearers are Tim Wicker, John Wicker, Paul Wicker, Joseph Wicker, Ben Wicker, and Jordan Wicker.
