Pocahontas- Timothy Allen Barnett, Sr., 56, passed away Wednesday, May 13, 2020 at his residence.  He was born January 3, 1964 to the late Elvia and Nelda Hightower Barnett in Montezuma Kansas.  He married Sherry Linebaugh on June 30, 1984 in Pocahontas.   Tim was a pipeline superintendent and was a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 406.  He was also a member of Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in Powhatan.

Preceding him in death were his wife; his parents; his brothers, Eldon Barnett and Michael Barnett.

He is survived by his son, Timothy Allen Barnett, Jr. (Shannon) of Pocahontas; daughter, Candice Barnett (Diamond Liberty) of Pocahontas; brother, Ronald Barnett of Maynard; sisters, Mary Thomas, Connie Berry, Lisa Vankirk, and Melissa Barnett, all of Pocahontas; grandchildren, Delilah, Willow, Emory, Harper, Vivienne, and Conall.

Visitation will be Saturday, May 16, 2020 from 10:30 until 11: 30 a.m. at Cox Funeral Home Chapel in Walnut Ridge.  Graveside Services will follow at 1 p.m. in Fairview Cemetery near Imboden.  All arrangements are under the direction of Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Timothy Barnett, Jr., Ronald Barnett, Jonathon Vankirk, Diamond Liberty, Jerry Vankirk, and David Barnett.

Honorary pallbearers are Mary Thomas and Connie Berry.
