Hoxie-On Saturday, April 18, 2020, Timothy Everett Green, 53, passed from this life into the waiting arms of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro.  He was born July 30, 1966 in Newport to Everett Lee and Generia Mae Nichols Green.  Timothy was a 1984 graduate of Hoxie High School.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Dutch and Annie Green; and maternal grandparents, Leroy Nichols, Bill and Ellen Dawson.

He is survived by his brother, Thomy Green (Kris) of Malvern; his sister, Tracy Lawson (Ed) of Jonesboro; nieces and nephews, Chris Lawson, Derek Lawson (Jade), Madison Lawson, Ellie Green, Amelia Kate Green, Ben Green, and Caroline Green.

Tim was a dedicated member of First Baptist Church Hoxie where he served as the Sunday School director.

Tim had three loves in this life. First, he loved God and dedicated his life to Him. Second he loved his family. Tim lived his entire life with his parents providing great joy and comfort to them. Lastly, he loved watching St. Louis Cardinals baseball games with his parents.

Tim was one of the most loving people ever. As much as he loved, he was loved in returned. Tim was absolutely the best big brother, and he will be greatly missed. Tim's entire family rests in knowing that this life is only temporary. They believe that when this life is over and their race is finished as well, they too will be united with Christ and reunited with Tim.

Graveside services will be Tuesday, April 21, 2020 at 2 p.m. in Lawrence Memorial Park.  Thomy Green will officiate.  All arrangements are under the direction of Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge.
