Twila Mae Causey, age 81, passed away Sunday, April 26, 2015 at St Bernards Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro. She was born in Pollard, Arkansas on May 18, 1933 to Willis and Pearl Byrd Johnson. On June 1, 1952, she married Donald Causey in Piggott, Arkansas. Together, they raised their children, and after teaching Donald to fish, spent many happy days on Lake Norfork and the Arkansas River. They managed downtown Otasco in Walnut Ridge for eighteen years. She was a longtime member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Walnut Ridge.

Preceding her in death were her parents and several brothers and sisters.

Survivors include her husband, Donald Causey of the home; four sons, Michael Causey (Patty) of Jonesboro, Keith Causey (Cheryl) of Mustang, Oklahoma, Dallas Causey (Dianne) of Pottsville, Arkansas, and Wayne Causey of the home; two daughters, Theresa Hooper (James) of Walnut Ridge and Rena Cullum (Billy) of Hoxie; three sisters, Adell Snyder of Overland, Missouri,Linda Conley of Pollard, and Earline Johnson of Piggott; twelve grandchildren, and seventeen great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Tuesday, April 28, 2015 from 5-8 pm at Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge. Funeral services will be Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in Cox Funeral Home Chapel with John Durham and Joel McMasters officiating. Burial will follow in Lawrence Memorial Park under the direction of Cox Funeral Home of Walnut Ridge. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
