Imboden- Ualdean Guthrie Davis, 94, passed away Saturday, October 26, 2019 at Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Walnut Ridge.  She was born on June 21, 1925 in Black Rock to Monroe and Modena Miller Phillips.  Ualdean was a teacher at Head Start for many years.  She was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church in Imboden.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Harold "Jiggs" Guthrie and her second husband, Archie Davis; brothers, Maurice and Jack Phillips; sister, Audrey Hudson; and grandsons, Anthony and Lyle Guthrie.

She survived by her sons, Roger Guthrie (Donna) and Ronnie Guthrie (Sandy) both of Pocahontas; daughter, Melissa Guthrie of Imboden; grandchildren, Brent Guthrie (Kim), Tonya Long (Terry), Angela Guthrie, Amanda Guthrie, Andrea Echeverria, and Gary Blansett; fourteen great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Tuesday, October 29, 2019 from 12 until 2 p.m. at Imboden First Baptist Church in Imboden.  The funeral will follow at 2 p.m. with Harold Russell officiating.  Interment will follow in Hope Cemetery in Imboden under the direction of Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge.

Grandsons and Grandson-in-laws will serve as pallbearers.
