Victor A. Clark, Sr., 88, passed away Thursday, October 25, 2018 at Lawrence Hall Nursing Center in Walnut Ridge. He was born June 25, 1930 to Luther Sherman and Aurora Casline Corbet Clark in Black Rock. He married Patsy Waddell on June 25, 1955. He began working at Clark Lumber Company when he was fifteen and retired from Clark General Contractors at age 85. He served on the Portia city council, and was a board member of the Black Rock School District finishing his term, after seventeen years, as president and served in the National Guard for eight years. Victor was also a member of the Black Rock Masonic Lodge No. 476, F. & A.M., and was a lifetime member of Portia Church of Christ.

Preceding him in death were his parents; brothers, Millard, Chalmers, Chester, Lavelle, C. Leroy, and Ralph Clark; and one infant grandson, Christopher Michael Tribble.

He is survived by his wife, Patsy of the home; a son, Vic Clark, Jr. (Judy) of Walnut Ridge; daughters, Patricia Tribble (Luther) and Mary Clark, both of Bono, Vickie Mitchell (Merle) of Walnut Ridge; fifteen grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, one great-great grandson, and one soon to be great-great grandson.
