Virginia Meridith Davis, 88 of Walnut Ridge passed away Thursday, May 17, 2018 at Lawrence Hall Nursing Center. She was born July 26, 1929 to Juddie Moore and Mildred Montgomery Dent at Smithville. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse at Lawrence Memorial Hospital for many years and was a lifetime member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Annieville.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Belita Meridith; brother, Juddie Dent, Jr.; sister, Doris Ratliff.

She is survived by her husband, Forrester Davis of Walnut Ridge; sons, Brian Meridith (Pamela) of Walnut Ridge, and Barry Meridith of Ravenden; daughters, Beverly Lemmons (Bill) of Pocahontas and Barbara Hitt of Walnut Ridge; grandchildren; Spencer Ostrom, Conley Meridith, Marla Helms, Penni Carpenter, Mike Emison, and Jill Powell; thirteen great grandchildren; and four great great-granchildren.
