Forsyth, Missouri - Weldon Odean Foster Bryant, 84, of Forsyth, Missouri, formerly of Black Rock, passed away October 17, 2016 , at Forsyth Nursing and Rehab in Forsyth, Mo.  Weldon was born July 12, 1932, to Floyd and Ellen Price Foster in Light, AR.  She was a homemaker and retired from Skil Manufacturing in Walnut Ridge.  Weldon was a member of Pruitt Chapel Free Will Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Coach Herschel Bryant, whom she married October 25, 1951; her parents; brothers; Virgle, Paul, Lloyd, and Alvin Foster and sisters; Velma Bowlin and Diann Wall.

She is survived by her daughters, Marsha (Michael) Raney of Branson, MO and LaDonna Bryant of Black Rock; one grandson, Ryan Raney of Columbia, MO; many wonderful nieces and nephews; sisters-in-law, Edy Foster, Freeda Foster, Betty Sue Foster; brother-in-law, Russell Wall and two special friends and faithful caregivers, Patrice Byrd Junkersfeld and Wilene Green Byrd.

Visitation will be Saturday, October 22, 2016 from 9:00 - 10:00 am at Pruitt Chapel Freewill Baptist Church in Light, AR with funeral services following at 10:00 am. Pastor Aaron Winfrey and Chuck Partlow will officiate. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery at Walcott, under the direction of Cox Funeral Home of Walnut Ridge, AR.

Nephews will serve as pallbearers.

Family and close friends will serve as honorary pallbearers.
