Willard Paul "Dick" Dickerson, 86, of Hoxie passed away Thursday, October 18, 2018 at his residence. He was born September 18, 1932 to Douglas and Betty Nunley Dickerson in Altamont, Tennessee. He married Lanita Lacy on June 26, 1959 in North Little Rock. Dick proudly served in the United States Airforce for twenty-three years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Hoxie, Hoxie Lodge #692, F&AM and Charles Chapter #410, OES.

Preceding him in death were his parents; step father, J.D. Safley; brothers, Melton Dickerson and S.D. Dickerson; sisters, Ernestine Dickerson, Christine Dickerson, Evie Bass, and Ethel Fitch.

He is survived by his wife, of the home; daughters, Cynthia Anglin (Scotty) of Ravenden, Betty Jarrett (Terry) and Sharon VanWinkle (Bunk), both of Walnut Ridge; grandsons, Cody Jarrett (Stephanie), Tanner Jarrett (Tanika) Derrick Crum, Brody VanWinkle (Jordan); and grand-daughter, Lacy VanWinkle; and five great grand-daughters.
