Wilma Evelyn Murphy, 87, of Walnut Ridge, passed away Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at Lawrence Hall Nursing Center in Walnut Ridge.  She was born on August 18, 1931 to Jerry and Elzora McCall Price in Texas County, MO. She was a homemaker and of the Pentecostal belief.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Herbert Hoover Murphy and several brothers and sisters.

Survivors include sons, Junior Murphy (Sherry) of Ravenden and Heath Murphy of Hoxie; daughters, Connie Bailey (Jerry) of Beech Groove and Remona Wicker (Joe) of Bono; sisters, Helen Murphy of Walnut Ridge, Stella Riggs of Pocahontas and Ruby Murphy of East Alton, IL; eleven grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.

Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
