Wilma Opal Reeves, 93, passed away Wednesday, April 19, 2017 in Pocahontas.  She was born in Walnut Ridge on November 8, 1923 to Andrew and Maudie Allison.  She was a homemaker and a member of the United Pentecostal Church in Pocahontas.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Arthur Reeves; and daughter, Mary Kaithleen Reeves.

She is survived by daughters, Judy Ann Davis and Shirley Faye Poe, both of Pocahontas; grandchildren, Lisa Carol Wiesneth, Tammy Renee Blankenship,
Pam Moon, Carrie Cross, and Danny Evans; great grandchildren, Travis, Olivia, Ashley, and Joshua.

Visitation for Mrs. Reeves will be Saturday, April 22, 2017 from 11 am–12 pm at Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge.  Funeral service will follow at 12:00 pm in Cox Funeral Home chapel with Reverend Jerry Cochran officiating. Burial will be at Chesser Cemetery near Pocahontas under the direction of Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cox Funeral Home, PO Box 150, Walnut Ridge, Arkansas, to help with funeral expenses.
